This Resource was developed by the Australian Human Rights Commission (the Commission).

Its main design is to support anyone who might be affected by the release of the Set the Standard: Report on the Independent Review into Independent Commonwealth Parliamentary Workplaces (the Report).

The Resource focusses on people working in Commonwealth parliamentary workplaces (CPWs). However, it can be a helpful resource when applied more generally to Commonwealth workplaces.

The Resource outlines trauma such as bullying, sexual harassment and sexual assault and its impacts. It then provides guidance to support:

  • someone who may have experienced bullying, sexual harassment and/or sexual assault.
  • managers, supervisors or colleagues who receives a disclosure about bullying, sexual harassment and/or sexual assault.
