Data Profession
The APS Data Profession is open to all Australian Public Service (APS) employees with an interest in learning more about data and working with it.

The APS Data Profession promotes knowledge sharing, peer-based learning and career development to lift the data capability of the APS workforce.
The Data Profession is focused on defining the key capabilities of data professionals and creating new career development opportunities to increase the size, diversity and mobility of the APS data workforce.
Members can expect:
- regular updates from senior leaders across the APS about a range of data-related topics
- invitations to hear fresh perspectives and gain insight from data leaders and experts at events and forums
- opportunities to network with like-minded colleagues and explore data-related mobility opportunities across the APS.
