APS Unlocked brings together new and returning members of the APS to engage with experienced APS leaders and practitioners, who will share essential information and tips for a successful and productive career in the APS. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and build their APS network to ensure they gain the knowledge, confidence and capability needed in the early days of their APS career.

This learning experience has been provided by the APS Academy.

Participant benefits

  • Learn about the standards of integrity in the APS, including authority, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Clarify the purpose and structure of the APS, diversity of agency roles and functions, and APS career opportunities.
  • Engage with experienced practitioners and peers to ask questions, solve problems and build connections across the APS.

Category and User Level

This learning experience is part of the APS Induction Pathway Program and aligns with APS Induction at the Foundation level. 

Considerations

The APS Induction Pathway is a blended learning program. To achieve optimal outcomes, it is recommended that participants engage with the following induction learning experiences in addition to APS Unlocked:

  • APS Companion digital resource with links to essential information (available in event activities).
  • APS Induction online learning modules and videos available at APS Induction.
