Frequently asked questions
What is a toolkit, and how do I use them?
The Academy toolkits include a range of learning experiences, to allow you to access the right learning for you. Toolkits may include self-serve resources, such as articles, videos, templates and checklists, through to courses available online and face-to-face.
As you engage with the toolkits, consider your needs, including your current skill level, learning preferences, and the different modes of delivery.
Regular reflection on your development needs, as well as discussions with your supervisor about your development and career objectives can help you identify the learning experiences aligned to your goals.
I have questions about APSLearn
APSLearn is the APS Academy’s Learning Management System where our courses are primarily accessed. For more information to assist you in using APSLearn, from creating a profile, requesting a password change and enrolling into a course for yourself or others in your agency, please visit the APSLearn page.
How can I have content added to a toolkit?
Toolkit content is always being reviewed and updated. If you have some content (resources or courses) or know of any communities or networks that would be useful for your colleagues, APS-wide, email: apsacademy@apsc.gov.au for more information and to discuss options.
How can APS agencies partner / contribute to the APS Academy?
The APS Academy is partnering with agencies across the APS to identify, build and connect the highest quality learning experiences to build APS Craft capability for all employees.
If you would like to partner or contribute to the APS Academy, email apsacademy@apsc.gov.au for more information and to discuss options.
