With more than 30 years of experience as an EA, Vanessa brings a wealth of knowledge, professionalism, and a warm, approachable manner to her role. Vanessa’s career began as a weekend receptionist and typist at a medical practice, sparking a passion for a career as an EA. After graduating school, Vanessa joined Minter Ellison Lawyers, where she worked for high-profile lawyers and barristers for twelve years, refining her EA skills in a dynamic and demanding environment.
For nearly two decades, Vanessa has contributed her expertise to the Australian Public Service, supporting Senior Executives across diverse portfolios such as Strategic Policy, Indigenous Affairs, Community Services, Housing and Homelessness, Early Childhood, Skills and Training, Higher Education, Research, and International Relations.
Vanessa is highly regarded for her friendly and professional manner, discretion, exceptional organisational skills, and expertise in managing complex diaries and travel.

Lisa is currently Executive Assistant to Jim Betts, Secretary, Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development Communications and the Arts.
Lisa Tonna is a Canberra-born Executive Assistant and passionate advocate for the EA profession. After a successful 30-year career in hairdressing, she made a bold transition into the corporate world bringing with her resilience, adaptability, and a strong client-service mindset.
In a remarkably short time, Lisa has established herself as a trusted and strategic EA, known for her practical approach, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement. She is especially passionate about empowering other Executive Assistants to recognise their value, elevate their impact and step confidently into leadership within their roles.

Billie is currently Executive Assistant to Matt Yannopoulos PSM, Secretary, Department of Finance.
Billie McAlpine has over 3 decades of experience in the public service. Currently the Executive Assistant to the Secretary of Finance, Matt Yannopoulos PSM, Billie has successfully supported senior leaders across a diverse range of government portfolios, including health, education, defence, and finance. Billie has extensive knowledge of government procedures, combined with a talent for managing complex diaries, coordinating high-level meetings, and handling confidential matters with discretion.
