The ability to interpret and apply employment legislation, policies and frameworks is pivotal to providing high quality human resources (HR) services within the APS. HR practitioners need an understanding of how legal instruments are turned into effective policies, practices and practical realities to inform, guide and support APS agencies to fulfil their HR obligations.

This module provides information on regulatory frameworks for APS HR professionals by providing access to the frameworks (via links and webpage references) and explaining how they can be applied to relevant situations.
