The Climate Action in Government Operations Program is a suite of courses designed to provide insights and strategies that will assist government entities to reduce their operational emissions to net zero by 2030.

This learning experience was provided by the Department of Finance.

Participant benefits

  • Understand concepts of climate change, along with Global Warming Potential and Carbon Dioxide Equivalent values.
  • Recognise the need for the Net Zero in Government Operations (NZGO) Strategy, and its actions and targets.
  • Exposure to concepts of the NZGO Strategy.
  • Consideration of strategies that entities could implement to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to achieve the APS Net Zero by 2030 commitment.
