The need to strengthen workforce planning capability to plan and develop the capabilities the APS needs for the future is becoming increasingly more critical.

The APS Centre of Excellence for Workforce Planning supports building and deploying strategic workforce planning capability within the APS.

The Workforce Planning Start Up Program offered through the APS Academy provides foundational information and resources to begin your APS Workforce Planning career. The program focuses on building foundational strategic workforce planning capability across the APS.

If you’ve got a grasp of the foundations of workforce planning, the Workforce Planning Boost Program modules provide more advanced technical information and resources to progress your APS Workforce Planning career.
