Co-designed with industry experts and people with lived experience of disability, the South Australian Government's award-winning Online Accessibility Toolkit provides best-practice guidelines, easy to use checklists, resources and communities to ensure government designs with accessibility in mind.

The toolkit offers guidance on Accessibility policies in government, how to create accessible digital platforms and human-centred content, and how to ensure accessibility and inclusivity is embedded in design.

The Online Accessibility Toolkit provides information on:

  • Introductory Guides - Guides for embedding digital best practice in your work
  • Project Management - Simple steps and resources for project managers
  • Content and communications – Simple steps and resource for content creators
  • Development – Simple steps and resources for front-end developers
  • User experience - Simple steps and resources for user experience designers
  • Visual design - Simple steps and resources for visual designers
  • Build, Buy and Supply – Make sure it’s accessible and inclusive for all users
  • Support and solutions – Discover solutions, get or give advice and support
