Understanding gender and cultural safety in First Nations policy and program

This learning experience has been designed to help APS staff at all levels create more inclusive policy, programs and workplaces. It provides practical strategies to help you develop policy and programs that consider the impact in relation to First Nations peoples. By applying gender analysis and specifically looking at First Nations gender analysis, we can better understand how different genders are impacted by policy and program work.
This can help us minimise potential harm and maximise positive impacts of policy and programs for First Nations peoples. The module will build your capability in engaging and working with First Nations colleagues both in and outside of the APS.
