The Charter of Partnerships and Engagement outlines the principles that help the Australian Public Service put people, communities and businesses at the centre of policy development, program implementation and service delivery. It promotes meaningful engagement, collaboration and partnership across government and with stakeholders to ensure policies and services are informed by the experiences and needs of those they affect.

The charter supports a more connected, transparent and responsive APS by encouraging agencies to build trust, listen to diverse perspectives and work collaboratively to achieve better outcomes for Australians.
