Quality Principles
A One-APS learning ecosystem integrates tools, people, data, and processes to support all learning stages, from design to evaluation, fostering collaboration and unified organisational learning.
The APS Continuous Learning Model promotes learning through work, people, courses and resources, helping employees build capability, improve performance and adapt to changing roles and priorities.
Building once and tailoring locally creates reusable APS learning with shared core content and separate agency-specific modules, reducing duplication, improving consistency and supporting a One-APS approach.
The APS Learning Quality Framework Resources Hub provides practical tools, templates, case studies and research to help APS staff design high-quality, accessible and inclusive learning while sharing good practice across agencies.
The Learning Quality Framework is a principle-based model for assessing, building, procuring and delivering high quality, effective and innovative learning experiences.
Files, Metadata and Authoring tools
Only use approved authoring tools. Clearly document who can edit, publish and retire learning products to avoid version confusion and unauthorised changes.
Where possible, use common, open file formats that can be accessed across devices and systems. Provide alternatives where proprietary formats are required.
