Industry Engagement and Market Research - April
Industry engagement includes gathering relevant business quantitative and qualitative intelligence to support procurement planning and decision making. This includes market estimation, analysis, and assessment through early and ongoing engagement with potential suppliers, including requesting industry feedback before request documentation is finalised.
This course provides strategies and techniques to conduct market research and manage industry engagement whilst maintaining fairness and integrity. Learn to engage across all four phases of the procurement lifecycle.

All staff. This course will benefit officials undertaking, or expecting to undertake, procurement activities, whether regularly or on an ad hoc basis.
Considerations
- The following knowledge is assumed for participants undertaking this course. Procurement and contract management basics: Foundational knowledge of procurement legislation and policy, the procurement lifecycle, value for money, and contract management. This could be through the Procurement Basics and Contract Management Basics courses or through prior training or experience.
