Transform your leadership approach in just one day

Join us for an intensive one-day workshop designed to introduce you to the essential concepts of adaptive leadership. The Adaptive Edge program will provide you with a foundational understanding of adaptive leadership concepts and their applications in the APS context.

Why adaptive leadership?

Yesterday’s solutions don’t solve today’s problems. The challenges we are facing – digital transformation, organisational change, cultural shifts - cannot be fixed with expertise and authority alone. They require people to change how they think, work, behave and create followship.

That’s the gap adaptive leadership fills.

Traditional management works when the answers are known. Adaptive leadership works when they are not: when success depends on mobilising your team to learn, experiment, and evolve together.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is designed for leaders at the EL2 level and above, who have little to no prior knowledge of adaptive leadership or those seeking to refresh their understanding of adaptive leadership ahead of deeper experiential leadership programs (like our SES B1 Leadership or SES B2 Leadership.)

What will be covered?

This workshop covers key adaptive leadership concepts and their practical applications in real APS contexts. Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, you will leave with frameworks you can immediately apply to the situations you are currently leading through.

This course is designed to introduce participants to the essential concepts of adaptive leadership. In today’s rapidly changing environment, leaders must do more than manage. Now, more than ever, the APS face unprecedented disruption, ambiguity, and pressure to adapt quickly. This one-day workshop will equip participants with key adaptive leadership concepts and their applications in the APS context.

This learning experience has been provided by the Australian Public Service Commission.
