APS Workforce Planning Boost Program

The need to strengthen workforce planning capability to plan and develop the capabilities the APS needs for the future is becoming increasingly more critical.
The APS Centre of Excellence for Workforce Planning supports building and deploying strategic workforce planning capability within the APS.
The Workforce Planning Boost Program is a collection of modules that target the development of technical workforce planning skills.
These units have been co-designed by the APS Centre of Excellence for Workforce Planning, with workforce planning experts and academics from across Australia. This program is designed for mid-career workforce planners, and those who have completed the Workforce Planning Start Up Program, to further build their workforce planning toolkit.
While each module is completed individually, they all form a wider program to build workforce planning skills.
The modules explore practical tools and techniques to undertake program management, to effectively support workforce planning implementation including governance, monitoring evaluation and iteration.
