This program aims to uplift APS-wide capability in risk management and support Commonwealth officials to implement the Commonwealth Risk Management Policy.

These learning resources are provided by the Department of Finance, in a manner consistent with the APS Learning and Development Strategy.

This content has been provided by Department of Finance. Learning content is owned by the Department of Finance and was created by the developed with the support of contracted service providers.

Participant benefits

  • User-centric learning resources tailored to the Commonwealth officials’ role and level – from awareness of basic risk management principles through to implementing the principles of the Commonwealth Risk Management Policy within their entity’s risk management framework or leading their entity’s risk culture and appetite.
  • Support Commonwealth officials implement the mandatory principles of the Commonwealth Risk Management Policy.
  • Support Commonwealth officials build their own risk management capability.

Suitable for

All staff. For all Commonwealth officials, regardless of level or role, who need to understand basic risk management concepts and how risk is managed in the Commonwealth.
