A MasterCraft Series event that was recorded in June 2025 that featured Parliamentary Workplace Support Service Advisory Board member Liz Dowd; Paul Cotterill, Assistant Secretary of the G20 and International Financial Institutions branch in the Treasury and Dr Subho Banerjee, Deputy Commissioner, Head of APS Academy and Capability at the Australian Public Service Commission. They discussed what a day in the life at a Minister’s office is like and what is the role of a Department Liaison Officer and how do you communicate with them. And what happens when things don’t go to plan?

Participant benefits
