Join the creator of Wayfinder, Richard Brasier for a behind-the-scenes look at the journey from initial idea to working AI-guided workflow platform. The session will cover key design decisions, development challenges, lessons learned and how Wayfinder combines conversational AI, workflow automation, and document generation.

Richard Braiser, Assistant Director-General, Australian Signals Directorate

Richard is currently the Assistant Director-General for Skills & Training at the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD), leading efforts to achieve ASD’s significant workforce growth and expansion requirements as part of the organisation’s ambitious transformation program.

Richard is a former software developer and a champion for AI enabled productivity within ASD.

He brings over nine years in national security across skills, organisational development, corporate, data and technology. Richard has previously worked extensively in both private and not-for-profit enterprises in technology roles and holds a Masters in Energy Systems.

John Tooth, Department of Finance 

John Tooth is the Product Manager for the GovAI Exchange and Cloud Services, products designed to support equitable access to AI resources for the Australian Public Service. John's role spans the full product lifecycle, from Proof of Concept and ideation, through too retirement. Before government, John was a start-up CEO, where he led the turnaround of a global SaaS analytics platform and helped enterprise clients across the APAC region transform how they deliver products. His broader history includes aligning product development to enterprise Initial Public Offering (IPO) targets and resolving post-acquisition product disparity.
