Inclusive policy makes gender visible in public policy processes and outcomes, challenges assumptions of gender neutrality, and promotes social and economic equality for all. This learning experience will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to engage in gender analysis across various public policy fields. You will gain a deep understanding of concepts and methodologies to identify and address the differential and intersectional impacts of policies and their funding on men, women and those identifying as non-binary.

The duration of learning is approximately 50 hours over 8 weeks. This includes self-paced learning, facilitated workshops, quizzes and group activities with your peers.

Discussions may be challenging at times, but will occur within a supportive and psychologically safe environment. You will be expected to undertake the course with an open, curious, respectful mindset.

This learning experience has been provided by the University of New South Wales in partnership with APS Academy and Office for Women (PM&C) and other agencies. It is delivered virtually by leading experts from UNSW on the UNSW Navigator platform.
