Introduction to Pacific cultures, histories and geographies

Fostering stronger partnerships with Pacific communities is key to Australia’s impactful collaboration in the region. These resources equip APS employees with an introduction to Pacific cultures, histories and geographies. By deepening your understanding of the region, you’ll be better placed to craft informed strategic policy and foster stronger partnerships with Pacific communities.
This course features selected content from the accredited postgraduate Microcredential in Pacific Engagement, developed in partnership with APS expertise, academic excellence and Pasifika voices. The learning materials link to the APS Reform initiative: Establish Asia and the Pacific capability (Pillar 3, Outcome 8).
This learning experience has been provided by the APS Academy and Flinders University, in conjunction with experienced APS and Pasifika practitioners.
