The Evaluation Profession is a community for people who want to use evaluation, evidence and continuous improvement to drive outcomes of policies and programs. It is a space for members to collaborate and learn, contribute to discussions, attend events, access and share resources, network and promote events. 

Ongoing (permanent employment), non-ongoing (temporary employment), and contractors working for Australian federal, state and local government agencies that are interested in the professions can sign up for a membership.

Why is this community important?

The Evaluation Profession brings together people who assess the effectiveness and efficiency of government policies, programs and initiatives. It aims to champion evaluative thinking and evaluation – in all its forms – across the APS.

The Evaluation Profession will help build evaluation capability, support diversity and mobility in evaluation roles, and foster innovation
