Corruption has no place in the Australian Commonwealth public service.

When our integrity falters, our ability to serve the public diminishes. To address this, the Australian Government has established the National Anti-Corruption Commission, as an independent body responsible for detecting, investigating and preventing serious and systemic corruption in the Commonwealth public sector.

This learning experience has been provided by The Australian Commission for Law Enforcement Integrity and the Attorney-General’s Department.

  • Introduction to the key functions of the NACC.
  • High level description of what the Commission can investigate.
  • Overview of who can (and who must) make referrals.
  • Summary of what investigative options and outcomes are possible.

Suitable for

All staff.
