Available to APS6 and Executive Level 1–2 employees

The Public Sector Management Program (PSMP), delivered by Queensland University of Technology (QUT), is a nationally recognised postgraduate program that has been successfully completed by over 3000 Commonwealth, state, territory and local government public sector professionals.

Designed for current and emerging leaders, the program builds capability in the business of government - strengthening strategic thinking, leadership, and management practice across the public sector. Successful participants receive a Graduate Certificate in Business (Public Sector Management).

The program comprises four contemporary units, delivered part-time over approximately 12–15 months, with flexible delivery options including both virtual and face-to-face workshops across Australia. The program provides a strong balance of academic insight and practical application, supporting participants to apply their learning directly in the workplace.

PSMP aligns to public sector capability frameworks and is tailored to address contemporary challenges facing government.

Further information is available, including upcoming intakes, delivery modes, and eligibility criteria, via the QUT website or by contacting the program team.
