The Coaching for Women in Data and Digital (C4WID) Program focuses on group coaching to help you develop leadership skills in data and digital related roles within the public sector. The program will help you reflect on your strengths, values and career goals, and dedicate time to professional growth in a supportive context.

This learning experience has been provided by Accenture in partnership with the APS Academy and APS Digital Profession.

Participant benefits

  • Group coaching, with opportunities for self-directed learning based on personal goals (informed by Delegate/Manager and Agency input where possible).
  • A focus on discovering self-limiting beliefs and uncovering leadership potential.
  • Access to an exclusive community with resources, thought leadership and more, to help behaviour change stick.
  • Opportunities to network and share experiences with coaches and peers across government.
  • Ongoing alumni network for peer support and collaboration.

Suitable for

APS 5 - EL 1 women and non-binary people working, or interested, in a data or digital related role. It is also suitable for those who are transitioning back into the workforce or shifting to digital and data related roles.

There will be two distinct coaching streams:

  • one for EL1 participants
  • new to the program in 2024, another for APS 5 and 6 participants.

This separation ensures that each group receives tailored support and development opportunities suited to their specific needs and career stages.

Considerations

Coaching for Women in Data and Digital is an annual 10-month program, inclusive of:

  • Program kick-off and an end of program celebration event.
  • 7 group workshops.
  • Pre and post session work to support ongoing learning.
  • Additional Hot Topic learning events and other networking events.

You will be required to become a member of the Digital Profession Members Community Platform to access the program. Membership is free.

This program includes one workshop per month with a cohort of peers. Upon enrolment you will be allocated to regular session times that suit you. However, if your schedule changes we can accommodate this, the flexibility will be coordinated by the Program Facilitator, Accenture. Accenture will provide a detailed confirmation once registration is completed.
