High-quality evaluation is essential to evidence-informed policy, effective program delivery and continuous improvement across the Australian Public Service (APS). The APS Evaluation Profession Strategy provides a roadmap for building evaluation capability, strengthening professional pathways and embedding a culture of evaluation and learning across government.

Launched as part of the APS capability agenda, the strategy aims to improve the APS's ability to design, commission, conduct and use evaluation to inform decision making. By strengthening evaluation capability and promoting the use of evidence, the strategy supports better policy outcomes and improved services for Australians.

This resource has been provided by the APS Evaluation Profession.
