AI Foundations for senior leaders is aimed at providing senior APS leaders with an opportunity to build AI capability within an APS context.

The workshop is designed as a hands-on, interactive session focussing on the understanding and use of AI tools within APS Agencies. Participants will experience guided discussions, hands on activities, and reflections of lived AI experience within an APS Agency. Topics covered include AI fundamentals, effective prompting and reviewing strategies, use cases relating to day-to-day work and AI risks and government guardrails.

Note: This is a foundational course for senior leaders, and focusses on AI use in the APS. If you are looking for in depth or complex technical AI guidance, or uses of AI outside of the APS environment, please consider alternate learning opportunities Artificial Intelligence (AI) | Australian Public Service Academy.

This learning experience has been provided by the Australian Public Service Commission.
