​This course teaches you how the Commonwealth Procurement Rules relate to environmentally sustainable procurement and the different factors to consider when procuring on behalf of the Australian government. 

​This learning experience has been provided by Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.

  • Identify how environmental sustainability is incorporated into the procurement process. ​
  • Recall the different factors of environmentally sustainable procurement and things to consider when purchasing.
  • Determine how environmental sustainability can be embedded into high opportunity categories for the APS.

  • ​This is the second course in the Environmentally Sustainable Procurement training program.

This learning experience is part of the Environmentally Sustainable Procurement Program, the Commonwealth Procurement and Contract Management Training Suite and aligns with the Implementation & Services craft at the Foundation level.
