The National Regulators Community of Practice (NRCoP) is an active network of public sector regulators from all levels of government in Australia and Aotearoa-New Zealand and from every regulatory sector, professional background, role and level of seniority. We come together because we are keen to learn from and with each other.

NRCoP provides a great opportunity for you to connect with your fellow regulators across Australia. Give a shout out about success, seek help with a challenge or recommend some useful research you have found in your travels.
2022 has been quite an exciting year for us as we have seen a return to hybrid and in-person events, as well as our online webinars. We have continued to build our existing chapters in Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, launched new chapters in South Australia and the ACT, and deepened our relationship with G-Reg in New Zealand. So far this year, hybrid and in-person events have taken place in Adelaide, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, with more planned for the months ahead. These events are a great opportunity for some networking and information sharing amongst peers, whilst the hybrid format maintains accessibility for our online community.

Stay tuned for further information on our next hybrid event in Sydney on 21 September. You can join online or attend in person if you are in Sydney.
We also recently published our 3-Year Plan which provides a one-page snapshot of our forthcoming initiatives:
- Professional Development Training Program to be launched in 2023 consisting of 6 online modules and a seminar program. The content of this program has been built with NRCoP members across the country.
- National Forum to be held in 2023, bringing together regulators to learn and share.
- Regulator Mentoring Program, to be designed with members next year, linking regulators across the early, mid and senior career spectrum.
