The APSC has launched a new mobility jobs board on APSJobs. Commonwealth employees can search for temporary opportunities across government to broaden skills and experience.

Mobility can be a valuable part of continuous learning, by delivering diverse on-the-job experiences and the opportunity to make new connections in the APS.

The Australian Public Service Commission has launched a new digital tool that will help you find opportunities to expand your skills.

A mobility-focused jobs board is now available on APSJobs. It will advertise temporary moves (secondments, temporary transfers or micro-assignments) to current Commonwealth employees.

The jobs board will help if you:

  • want to grow your skills or try something new
  • want to broaden your experience so you can take the next step in your career
  • want to find out how other parts of government work
  • need people in a hurry or secondees rather than permanent employees
  • want to find new ways to support development of your staff.
