SES Band 1 Leadership Development Program - September

The SES Band 1 Leadership Program strengthens the leadership capability of experienced senior executives across the broader APS, to effectively deliver on their key accountabilities. Band 1 executives play a critical role in setting the strategic direction of their group, building a positive and high-performing workplace culture, and making significant decisions on individual policies and courses for which they are directly accountable to government.

The face-to-screen SES Band 1 Leadership program includes the following components:

  • 1 virtual program introduction
  • 3 virtual workshops
  • 3 virtual individual coaching sessions.

Pre-work activities are to be completed prior to attending the course.

For face-to-screen sessions the delivery of online-facilitated sessions use a virtual classroom tool (such as Zoom, Adobe Connect, WebEx or Pexip). Agencies have access to different virtual classroom tools. Prior to enrolling on a course, it is suggested that you check if you have any restrictions on using the tools. If you would like to complete the course, but cannot access the virtual classroom tool on your work device or network, we recommend you use a personal device such as a laptop or computer with a strong network to support you at home or another offsite location. For more information, please refer to our terms and conditions.
