MasterCraft Series – Regulatory Workforce Planning

This MasterCraft Series event presents regulatory managers and leaders with an opportunity to understand and address workforce challenges in regulation, compliance and enforcement teams.

The session will provide evidence-based workforce insights derived from in-depth workforce data analysis. It will highlight priority workforce risk areas to be addressed, and provide hands-on guidance on workforce management tools and strategies for regulatory leaders to address these risks and build engaged, highly capable and high performing, future-ready teams.

Nicole is a strategic workforce planner with more than 12 years’ experience across the APS, private and not-for-profit sectors.

In her current role, Nicole is leading a small team of expert workforce analysis and planners in the APS Centre of Excellence for Workforce Planning, partnering closely with APS agencies and senior leaders to provide workforce planning (WFP) support and advisory services. Through this work, Nicole is supporting the APS Chief Operating Officers Committee in their roles operationalising the APS Workforce Strategy at entity level.

Chris White

Senior Advisor, APS Workforce Strategy & Planning

Chris has previous APS WFP experience and recently led WFP/reporting and recruitment functions for a large department in a state government environment portfolio, has specialist skills in workforce and payroll analytics, senior executive remuneration and benchmarking, and is also an accredited Mercer job evaluator.

Complementing these skills, Chris also has several years of experience as a Workplace Relations Advisor and HR Business Partner. This supports a practical understanding of the industrial implications of redeployment, and consultation requirements of workplace change.
