MasterCraft Series - Financial Reporting Framework

Under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act), Commonwealth entities are required to prepare their financial statements in accordance with the Australian Accounting Standards, as well as other reporting requirements determined by the Minister for Finance and Secretary of the Department of Finance.

This session provides an overview of the legislative framework governing Commonwealth entities’ financial statements preparation, and the key accounting standards applicable to public sector entities.
