MasterCraft Series – EVP for Accounting and Finance Managers

This MasterCraft Series event presents accounting and finance managers and leaders with an opportunity to understand and address attraction and retention challenges in their teams through the lens of an employee value proposition (EVP).

The session will provide an introduction and overview of EVP, and demonstrate how accounting and finance managers can build their manager value proposition to increase retention and attraction in their teams. This session provides tools for managers to build effective teams using EVP principles, and demonstrates the importance of effective team management, positive team culture and strong leadership in building high-performing, capable teams.

Grace Liew, Senior Advisor, APS Workforce Planning, Australian Public Service Commission   

Grace Liew is a Senior Advisor in the APS Centre of Excellence for Workforce Planning. Grace has spent over 15 years in private sector in a variety of roles focused on leadership, organisational culture and processes. Grace’s experience spans across data analysis, assurance, business management systems, strategic business and workforce planning and governance with a strong focus on leadership and organisational culture.
 
Grace holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Commercial Law) and graduated from the Australian Institute of Management’s Women in Leadership program. Grace is a certified individual and team coach through Professional Coaching Australia, and a professional member of the Australian HR Institute. 

Amy Choi, Senior Advisor, APS Workforce Strategy and Planning

Amy Choi is a Senior Advisor, APS Workforce Strategy and Planning at the Australian Public Service Commission (APSC). Amy works with agencies across the APS to provide workforce planning support and advisory services. Amy uses workforce data and evidence to support agencies in designing and implementing strategic workforce plans, which enables these agencies to achieve APS business outcomes and goals.
