APS Induction - Working in the APS
The aim of this course is to provide you with some of the essential information you need to know about working in the APS.
Starting a new job is exciting, but we acknowledge that it can be a bit overwhelming so we don’t want to take up too much of your time with information overload.
This course is general in nature with information that is common to all APS employees, regardless of where you work. There is a lot to learn and discover, so it won’t try and cover everything in one go but feel free to speak with your manager at any time if you need to know more or you have questions.
This content has been provided by APS Academy in partnership with the Australian Public Service Commission.
- Describe in brief why the APS exists.
- Explain the objectives of the Public Service Act.
- Identify the work levels within the APS classification structure.
